BM Catalysts is buoyant about the future of the combustion engine following a successful exhibition at popular aftermarket trade show, Automechanika Birmingham.
The leading supplier of hot end emissions products focused on future technology at the show, following a launch of further selective catalytic reduction (SCR) units prior to the exhibition.
Continued high demand for BM Catalysts’ range is reason for optimism about the future of the combustion powertrain, despite the looming ban on new petrol and diesel vehicle sales in the UK from 2030, the company says.
Mark Blinston, commercial director at BM Catalysts, said: “With the current end date for combustion engine-powered vehicles approaching, we’re finding drivers and technicians are looking for longevity from their current vehicles and are therefore opting for high-quality parts available through the aftermarket to keep those vehicles on the road for longer.
“Future legislative changes inspired by aggressive emissions controls in Europe will only serve to stimulate the UK marketplace. BM Catalysts is ideally placed to provide solutions to the air quality problem.”
Thousands of visitors walked through the doors of the NEC for Automechanika Birmingham 2023 to get the latest updates from over 500 suppliers including BM Catalysts. The brand displayed a comprehensive product range at the trade event including catalytic converter, diesel particulate filter and SCR references.
