BM Catalysts lace their boots ready for football tournament at the Bet365 Stadium

On Thursday, 22nd May 2025, The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Association (IAAF) is hosting its first-ever football tournament at the home of Stoke City Football Club.

Demand was high but BM Catalysts have successfully registered a team, who are focused on ‘exceeding expectations’ on and off the pitch by winning the tournament and being crowned the best in business.

Formatted as a 5-a-side tournament involving 24 automotive aftermarket teams, the event will take place between 2pm-7pm on four quarter-size pitches. During the event, all teams will experience the exclusive use of the stadium facilities with full access to the changing rooms and tunnel. Alongside this, all games are to be officiated by FA-qualified match officials with trophies being presented during the awards ceremony at the conclusion of the event.

The tournament will also see the use of the stadiums PA system, plus a live tournament results website available for the BM Cats family who will be cheering the team on from home. For those able to attend, the event grants access to the stadiums main stand as well as an on-site kiosk offering food and drinks for all spectators.

IAAF Chief Executive, Mark Field, said: “This is a great opportunity for the industry to come together in a fun and competitive environment, reinforcing the camaraderie and spirit that makes the automative aftermarket the best sector there is.”

Mark Blinston, Commercial Director of BM Catalysts said: “We cannot wait to be involved, it’s a great chance for our team to showcase their skills and live up to our name.”
